Participate in the training of apprentice digital and cybersecurity engineers


In order to meet the demands of its partners and develop its missions in accordance with the main national guidelines, TELECOM Nancy has set up training in general engineering in IT and digital sciences in partnership with ITII Lorraine since 2013. – UIMM Lorraine training center.

With its expertise in cybersecurity for more than 10 years, TELECOM Nancy is opening at the start of the 2024 school year, in partnership with ITII LorrainePôle Formation UIMM Lorraine , a specialty engineering training course in a new format in France for cybersecurity: the “FISEA” with a 1st year at school under student status, then the 2nd and 3rd years in school/company alternation under apprentice status.

The engineering training by apprenticeship offered by TELECOM Nancy in partnership with the ITII Lorraine is authorized by the Commission des Titres d’Ingénieur and has received the authorization to open the Lorraine Region of an apprenticeship section under cover of the CFAIs. of Lorraine.

Apprenticeship is a work-study training which combines training with an employer and lessons given in an apprenticeship training center. The goal is to train real professionals, by providing them with both theoretical and practical training, thanks to a gradual immersion in the business world according to the schedule below (schedule given as an indication).

The apprenticeship contract

It is a full-time, fixed-term employment contract which extends over 12, 24, or 36 months depending on the training (24 or 36 months in the case of TELECOM Nancy).


The status of the apprentice

The apprentice is a full-time employee. He has the same rights and the same obligations as all employees of the company. All labor legislation (legal and conventional provisions) is applicable. Like any employee, apprentices benefit from legal annual leave which represents the total of two and a half days per month (including during the time spent at the CFA).

Apprentices receive at least a fixed remuneration as a percentage of the minimum wage (the company’s collective agreement may provide for higher rates), depending on their age and their progress in the training cycle.
These percentages are as follows:

From 18 to 21 years old:

  • 1st year : 43% minimum wage
  • 2nd year : 51% of the minimum wage
  • 3rd year : 67% of the minimum wage


From 21 to 25 years old:

  • 1st year : 53% of the minimum wage
  • 2nd year : 61% of the minimum wage
  • 3rd year : 78% of the minimum wage
