Engineer two

Scientific training is comprised of the specialisation modules chosen in the second year. {Emphasis is placed on the preparation for executive functions, via an industrial project and teachings relating to team and project management. A compulsory internship provides students with the opportunity to assume their first responsibilities as engineers.

  • Management (business management via a business game, human resources management and personal development – in particular during a fixed 5-day seminar)

Industrial project

The aim of the industrial project is to raise awareness among students to the practical problems encountered by companies by asking them to manufacture, from drafting the specifications through to the delivery phase, a product from a statement of needs provided by a company.

“Engineer” internship

Duration 3 to 6 months, starting in April

The objective of this internship is to prepare the students for integration into the professional world; the internship is an essential way of bringing together the knowledge acquired during the university course with the company know-how. This practical training module represents a real opportunity for the student, submerged in an industrial environment, to acquire a business culture and demonstrate that he/she has the skills and technical, scientific and human bases required to perform his/her future role as an engineer.


TELECOM Nancy offers its students the possibility to perform their last year of study at a foreign university, for example in Australia, Ireland, Norway, Great-Britain or even Canada.
