Training

Engineer one

The core curriculum provides knowledge in the fundamental fields of information technology and computer-integrated production. The general training is continued according to the bases introduced in the first year. Each student chooses a speciality which enables them to explore in detail a particular field of application for new technology. The student also undertakes a project simultaneously: either an interdisciplinary project or an introduction to research project. The year ends with a compulsory internship.

Core curriculum

  • Accounting – Finance
  • Opening lectures
  • Training for job seeking
  • Production management
  • Operations research and graphs
  • Compulsory language: English
  • Optional languages: German, Spanish, Japanese, Swedish

“Technician” internship

Lasting 8 to 12 weeks, starting in mid-June
This internship must enable the student engineers to discover and practice the techniques and tools used in the professions involving IT and industrial production, in addition to confronting the associated time, economic and human restrictions. The evaluation of this internship is incorporated into the 3rd year management module.
