TELECOM Nancy is the Gold partner of Lorraine JUG .

The association “Lorraine JUG” (Lorraine Java User Group) was created in January 2009 on the initiative of Xavier Roy, engineer of TELECOM Nancy promotion 1999.

TELECOM Nancy hosts the majority of Lorraine JUG events by providing conference rooms and equipment. The school also hosts the legal headquarters of the association.

What is a JUG?

A JUG is an independent community, incorporated as a non-profit association, which brings together local players (industrialists, academics, researchers, students, recruiters, etc.) who share an interest in Java technology (technology for the development of computer applications). It corresponds to several software products and specifications which together constitute a system for developing and deploying
applications.
The association regularly brings together its members to exchange ideas, points of view and experiences relating to this technology. These exchanges
can take the form of conferences, round tables, demonstrations, workshops …
