TELECOM Nancy decked itself out in pink for a special Pink October Happy Tuesday event, marked by a spirit of conviviality and solidarity. The event, which brought together nearly 150 participants, raised awareness about the fight against breast cancer while bringing students and staff together around a range of activities.
Thanks to the efforts of its humanitarian association, Humani’TN, the Sports Office, the Student Office, the Arts Office, the Créa’TN club, and the EDI unit, the day was a resounding success.
Mobilization in figures
- 89 people dressed in pink, meaning €89 donated to cancer research.
- 140 pink crocheted ribbons made by Créa’TN, around fifty of which have already been sold to raise money for the cause.
- 20 registrations for the Pink October race funded by Humani’TN and the BDS, and more than 30 runners or walkers from the school who participated in the race on Sunday, October 5.
- A 12-question quiz designed by the EDI unit to raise awareness about Pink October and breast cancer.
- A collective mural designed by the BDA, where everyone was able to express their creativity and support.
- A musical performance by the BDA music students to “voir la vie en rose”.
Thank you very much!
This wonderful display of generosity and solidarity would not have been possible without the commitment of our students and staff at TELECOM Nancy: a big thank you to everyone!
