Notice to candidates for the Mines-Télécom Competition

The admission tests for the CPGE competitions have started, we wish good luck to all the candidates!

To allow you to get to know TELECOM Nancy better and to refine your choice of schools, we invite you to discuss with our teachers and students. You have two options for this:


Briefly, TELECOM Nancy is…

A public engineering school of Lorraine INP (11 engineering schools) within the University of Lorraine, school affiliated with the Institut Mines-Télécom and founding member of the IMT Grand Est alliance, TELECOM Nancy issues a diploma authorized by the Commission des Titres d’Ingénieur (CTI) and is part of the Mines-Télécom Competition which brings together 17 multidisciplinary engineering schools.

Two courses are offered:

  • Curriculum under student status
  • Curriculum under apprentice status

Recruitment takes place at:

Bac+2: main recruitment – entry into 1st year
Bac+4: entry into 2nd year

The training lasts 3 years:

  • 3 semesters of general education (including a significant part devoted to economics, social and human sciences and foreign languages)
  • 3 semesters of specialization


5 specializations are offered from the 2nd year:


International mobility for all

During your course at TELECOM Nancy, you will have to carry out an experience of at least 17 weeks abroad :

  • Either as part of a year or a semester of study at a foreign university (respectively in 3rd and 2nd year),
  • Or as part of an internship in a company (in the 1st, 2nd or 3rd year).

Registration fees

  • For non-scholarship holders: 601*
  • For scholarship holders: €0

*excluding students of non-EU nationality, refer to the Registration fees page.
